Is grey tartan just for menswear?

Not at all — grey plaid is one of the most unisex patterns in fabric. On this 65/35 poly-rayon at 185 GSM, the grey tartan works for kilts, scarves, blankets, napkins, and decor across the board, and grey is the easiest tartan to style: it pairs with black, white, navy, burgundy, and forest green. Machine washable cold, low temperature, no bleach. Honest note: the description mentions 'Christmas Red' in one line (copy-paste from the red listing) — go by the title and photos, which show the grey plaid. Same fabric family as the other tartans, same easy-sew hand.

Can I make a scarf from this grey tartan?

Yes — scarves are a listed use, and the 65/35 poly-rayon at 185 GSM is a great scarf weight: substantial enough to drape with body, soft enough against the neck (the listing calls it super soft). At 58/60 inches wide, one yard gives you a generous scarf. Machine wash cold, low temperature, no bleach. Honest tradeoff: rayon blends wrinkle — but a scarf lives in wrinkles gracefully, so it's a non-issue here. For a winter-weight scarf, this hits the sweet spot between flimsy and bulky.
