We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Is this the same material as disposable mask filters?

It's in the same family — a lightweight non-woven sold for mask linings and nurse uniform covers — but with honest flags. First, the title says polypropylene while the content line says 100% polyester; we'd confirm which fiber you're actually getting before ordering for medical-adjacent use. Second, it's described as water repellent and lightweight (about 2 oz) with a soft medium hand; the title says 60 inches wide while one description line says 52 inches — we'd go by the 60-inch title spec and confirm. It's machine washable. For craft and cover use it's fine; for anything requiring certified filtration, you need certified filter media, not this.

Can I sew this non-woven fabric like normal fabric?

Mostly yes, with adjustments. It's a non-woven, so it doesn't fray — you can leave edges raw, which is a genuine convenience for mask linings and uniform covers. It cuts cleanly and sews like a lightweight, stable fabric at about 2 oz. The tradeoff: non-wovens don't press like wovens (heat can melt or glaze them — use low heat and test first), and needle holes are permanent since there's no weave to close back up. Pin within the seam allowances, or better yet, use clips.
