Design HM 2240. Foil Hologram Spandex is a Two Way Stretch iridescent Lame fabric. Once the Lame is stretch, it conforms back into its lame state without any marks or missing foil. Fabric is meant to stretch and come back to its solid form. Great for wall applications, Clothing, Costumes and used heavily in the party rental industry

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Two-way stretch vs four-way — what's the practical difference?

Direction of give. For leggings or bodysuits needing vertical give, four-way holograms are the better tool. It's dry clean only, 170 GSM with a light-to-medium body — substantial enough to hold a shape. Design with the stretch, not against it.

Dry clean only — why not hand wash like the other holograms?

Different construction, different care. This is a 100% polyester iridescent lame (not the nylon-spandex knit of the dancewear holograms), and the listing specifies dry clean only — do not machine wash. Lame's foil-on-polyester structure doesn't tolerate water agitation the way knit holograms tolerate hand washing. For wall applications and rentals (its primary uses), dry cleaning between installs is standard. Don't cross-apply the dancewear holograms' hand-wash care to this fabric — follow its own tag.
