Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

What does the diamond pattern actually look like?
It's a glittering diamond-and-stone motif on a stretch knit — think geometric sparkle rather than an animal print. This Diamond Glimmer Knit is a 56-inch-wide polyester-spandex double knit with a solid backing and a glitter-textured face, so the diamond shapes catch light as you move. At about 7 oz per linear yard it's super lightweight with a fluid drape, which is why it suits dance costumes and special-occasion dresses over structured garments.
Does it need lining?
For most garments, no — and that's the advantage of the construction. Unlike single-layer glitter meshes, this Diamond Glimmer Knit has a solid backing behind the glitter face, so it's listed as solid rather than sheer. You can cut dancewear and tops without an underlayer. Honest note: the glitter face can feel textured against bare skin, so for a fitted bodice you may still prefer a soft lining for comfort even though opacity doesn't demand it.
