Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I haven't had a chance to sew it up, but it feels nice and stretches well.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use stretch vs. non-stretch fabric?
Stretch for anything fitted or active — dancewear, swimwear, leggings, fitted costumes. Non-stretch for structured garments and drapery. Choosing wrong is the #1 beginner mistake. Our stretch vs. non-stretch guide makes it clear. Stretch fabrics start from $3.99 per yard.
What exactly is spandex, and how much stretch do I need?
Spandex (elastane) is the fiber that gives fabric stretch — usually blended with polyester or nylon. Four-way stretch moves both directions; two-way stretches one way. Our complete spandex guide explains it all.
What stretch fabrics work best for cosplay and costumes?
Stretch velvet, scuba, and metallic spandex are cosplay staples — they sculpt to the body and hold bold shapes. Look for good recovery so pieces keep their fit. See what to look for in cosplay stretch fabrics.
Are your stretch fabrics good for dancewear and athletic wear?
Yes — our performance stretch fabrics are designed for movement, with moisture-friendly polyester blends. Dancers love our metallics for stage. Check out metallic spandex for dance and athletic wear.
How do I care for spandex fabrics?
Care varies by fabric — check the product listing. Heat is the enemy of elasticity, so cool handling extends the life of stretch garments. Our fabric care 101 covers the essentials.
