Description

Muslin is a 63" wide unbleached natural fabric. Construction compiles of 20x20/60x60. It is of a cotton fabric with plain weave. Muslin can be used for upholstery, clothing, sewing patterns, curtains, linings, and much more. Event rental companies can use this fabric to pipe n drape rooms and or create dimensions within the ballroom. Due to its composition, our muslin can withstand countless washes - a huge plus in all industries.

Received timely but the fabric was not folded nicely but instead stuffed into the box. I was not pleased to see this.

This muslin is a heavy-weight, sturdy fabric

This muslin is a heavy-weight, sturdy fabric, completely different from the lighter weight muslin I have used in past projects. Unfortunately it is not suitable for lining the poly-gab drapes, as it is way too stiff. Had I known the weight, I would not have purchased. Now I have almost 30 yards of a fabric I cannot use.

Fantastic fabric. Thicker than what i was expecting, but fantastic to work with.

Unbleached muslin

I wanted to line some too shear drapes I had purchased. The muslin did the trick at a bargain price. Thank you.

Bargain Fabric

For a sewing basic, this is great fabric. The weight is just a touch light and the weave is a bit more open than I usually get for my students but it handles well and they have no issues in crafting their toiles. It also isn't coated in excess sizing which often makes more open weave muslins very boardy and stiff, especially when ironed. Plus the extra wide width allows us to avoid piecing on floor length garments and, overall, it is quite economical.
I'll be purchasing more in the semesters ahead.

Good fabric. Lighter than I expected but it shrank very well in a hot dryer which exactly what I wanted.

Nice fabric

I bought this on recommendation from a fellow upholsterer. Use it as the “pre-upholstery” fabric. Strong fabric and I like the heavier weight of this fabric compared to others I’ve used in the past.
