Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between chiffon, organza, and voile?
Chiffon is soft and flowing, organza is crisp with more body, and voile is a lightweight plain weave — all sheer, but they drape and behave very differently. Choosing the right one changes your whole project. Our sheer fabric comparison lays out each style. Sheer fabrics start from $1.99 per yard.
Which sheer fabric is best for weddings?
It depends on the application — organza holds shape for bows and overlays, chiffon flows for draping, tulle adds volume. Many planners layer them. This wedding sheer guide matches each fabric to its best use.
Can I combine sheer fabrics with satin for draping?
Yes — sheer over satin is a classic event-draping technique that adds depth and softness. The contrast between matte sheer and reflective satin photographs beautifully. See draped in elegance for styling ideas.
Do you carry fire-retardant sheer fabrics for venues?
Yes — many venues require IFR (inherently fire retardant) sheers for drapery and backdrops. Check individual listings for FR certification. Our fire-retardant fabric explainer covers why planners insist on them.
How do I care for sheer fabrics?
Care varies by fabric — check the product listing. Sheers snag easily, so gentle handling is the rule. Our fabric care 101 has storage and handling tips.
