Polyester Silk Fabric | Faux Silk | Polyester Dupioni Fabric Yards & Bolts | 54" Wide | Multiple Colors

We use this fabric to make historical gowns for customers who want to avoid the high cost of real silk. It's light weight, and not as shiny as polyester satin, and it's easy to work with. It can also get wet without damage, and it doesn't get wrinkled easily. It doesn't ravel out easily, so we serge raw edges before we start sewing. It's a great way to get a gorgeous gown at a great price.

Great customer service! Fast to respond and generous with a solution to fix their mistake of wrong fabric sent. We are a university theater department and two fabrics in our order were fulfilled with the wrong fabric. We decided that we wanted to keep the wrong fabric (we are more likely to use it) and exchange the other fabric that was fulfilled correctly because, once in-hand, it was not what we expected. In an unexpected and very generous move, they offered for us to keep all of the fabric in the first batch and would still send the correct fabric from our original order for no extra charge. The replacement fabric was shipped the same day. Very good to know of a trustworthy and speedy online fabric vendor, especially since Joann Fabrics closed we were left without any decent-sized fabric stores carrying a wide variety of fabric types for in-person shopping.

The fabric pieces were small for the price and I wasn't given any notice when it was to arrive. The fabric seems very nice though and a good price per yard.

I absolutely LOVE this fabric! It's cheap but doesn't look it, it sews beautifully, and it has a decent feel against the skin despite the texture. It's more transparent than tighter weaves, but not to the point where you'd need a lining. There are also a TON of colors, and I was able to find a perfect match for each piece of my cosplay despite needing about 6 separate ones.

I do find that some of the colors fray more than others for whatever reason, but pinking shears help a lot to prevent it from becoming a mess. My only real complaint is that the main swatch colors can vary SIGNIFICANTLY from the in person color, so you definitely need to look through all the photos and order swatches. Other than that, the fabric is fabulous, and people loved seeing it in person for my cosplay.

Beautiful, saturated color with a nice sheen. This has a crisp hand and a good weight for a formal skirt and top. I am making a costume with it. I will definitely order again in the future.

I'm unsure if it was my screen settings or the dye lot but the color I had ordered was more Plum then magenta. It is still lovely fabric at an amazing price, and I am confidant I can fide some use for it but unfortunately it is not the color I wanted.

This fabric is great. I needed a silk look fabric for a synthetic price and this fit the bill! The colors are deep and rich. This is a heavier weight than I thought I wanted but it turned out perfect for my project!

This polyester silk is perfect for a mother of the bride dress I'm making. Wonderful weight, the fall is beautiful and the colors are fabulous!

It's so hard to find 120" quality material that is not sheer or blackout. The Polyester Faux Dupioni Fabric is going to work perfect for a bedspread I will be making. Thank you for your products!

Looks expensive; purchased for draperies for a stage set with limited budget and time constraints. Fabric arrived timely. The set looked fabulous and received many compliments specifically about the draperies.(& I was under budget!) Thank you.

The quality of the faux silk was great. It just was not the color gold I wanted. However I would purchase from them another time.

Truly love the shine and the texture. The colors are very vibrant. One of the best choices I made.

We spent a long time researching fabric suitable for covering the ceiling for my small business. When we found this offered by the bolt, we ordered samples (and paid for shipping!) but when we went to place the order, it was now only available to purchase by the yard. I emailed and got no response and then called and left a message. When I received a call back, the person confirmed that they no longer sell this by the bolt. I would have never have ordered samples if I had known this was the case. Super disappointed.

This is very nice fabric especially for the price, but it is too sheer for our application at our church that has lumber framing to cover on the stage. I love the 120 inch width. That goes a long way!

I would have given this a five-star rating had it not been for the end (beginning?) of the nine yards of material I purchased having what appeared to be grease stains and white blotches even after washing it. Their customer service was definitely a ten rating, as well as, their speed in shipping. However, I did not check the measurement of the piece ordered nor did I contact customer service and just started working on the dress.

For certain, I will order from them again.

I am still waiting for delivery of my samples🥲…as a Canadian customer, the slow delivery probably has everything to do with the mail service. Thus far, I am very impressed with the promptness of your business to send put the samples. Beautiful. Ended up with a lot more of the Dupioni silk than I needed. If you could list the yardage in square yards as well as inches, that would be helpful since I’m terrible at math.
