Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Baby Blue Color Super Inaccurate

I didn't have time to buy a sample, so visually the closest blue I needed was the baby blue fabric which in the photo looks like a medium/royal blue. Girl if this fabric was any lighter it would be white. My fault for not reading the name of the color, but yall really gotta update that photo. Otherwise as described 👍

Blue Crease Taffeta Fabric

We bought this to use in a window display, depicting a running stream in the front part of our display. We could not have asked for anything more perfect! The color, texture and shading will make our stream bed almost as realistic as an actual running stream. This is a beautiful piece of fabric and would be exquisite, no matter what the use, i.e. clothing, home decorating etc.

Frequently asked questions

What is taffeta best used for?
Bridal gowns, evening wear, event drapery, and formal linings — taffeta's crisp body and subtle sheen give structure that softer fabrics can't. It's a designer favorite for statement pieces. Read dressing in taffeta for inspiration. Our taffeta starts from $2.79 per yard.
Is taffeta good as a lining fabric?
Yes — it's one of the best linings for formal dresses and curtains because it adds body without bulk and has a smooth face that slides over other layers. Learn why in our taffeta lining guide.
What's crushed taffeta, and where is it used?
Crushed taffeta has a textured, crinkled finish that catches light beautifully — it's hugely popular for wedding table linens, chair sashes, and event drapery. Our guide to using crushed taffeta for weddings shows it in action.
How do I care for taffeta?
Care varies by fabric — check the product listing. Taffeta can water-spot, so it's worth reading up before cleaning. Our fabric care 101 covers the basics.
Taffeta vs. satin — which should I choose?
Taffeta is crisp with body and structure; satin is smooth with fluid drape. Choose taffeta for sculpted gowns and structured decor, satin for flowing looks. See how satin and taffeta dominate events.
