Description

Shantung Satin is a reversible imitation silk. 100% polyester with a Shiny Satin and a dull matte side. The dull matte side has dupioni silk lines running through the fabric. This item is great for apparel making dresses and unique to the bridal industry. More recently very commonly used for tablecloths in the event industry.
Cleaning Instructions
100% Polyester Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures.

Some fabric rolls come straight from our mill unpackaged and untouched but will have a few splits in the rolls. I ordered and received three colors of the Dupioni. I am very happy with the color, hand and weight of the fabric. I will order again when necessary.
As a costume maker of Greek folk costumes, I have to stick very close to the research. fabric has become harder and harder to find… especially with velvets, silks and jacquard fabrics. I was very happy to find what I needed, in a perfect width and reasonably priced.
