We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

What's the difference between the holographic and glitter TPU?

The effect. Both are the same TPU film: 180 GSM, 0.15mm thick, 58/60 inches, clear and see-through, waterproof, non-stretch, wipe-clean with a damp cloth, arriving with a protective plastic layer. The glitter version has glitter suspended in it (discrete sparkle points); this iridescent/holographic version carries a rainbow holographic effect (a shifting color wash). Same sewing rules for both: Teflon foot, clips instead of pins, no direct iron. Choose glitter for starry sparkle, holographic for the oil-slick rainbow shift. Honest note: both are special-effect plastics — pick the effect that matches the costume, because you can't tone either one down.

Is the holographic effect on the surface or through the film?

The listing describes an iridescent transparent TPU with a holographic rainbow effect — and because it's a transparent film, the effect plays with light through and across the material. Like all holographics, it shifts with viewing angle and lighting: rainbow fire in direct light, subtler in diffuse light. It's 0.15mm thick, non-stretch, waterproof. Honest note: holographic films photograph unpredictably — they can look amazing or washed out depending on the light. If the exact effect matters for a costume, order a swatch and photograph it under your intended lighting.
