Shipping Carriers & Services

We ship using one or more of the following carriers, depending on the item, destination, package size, and service availability:

• UPS (examples include: UPS SurePost, UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air)
• FedEx (examples include: FedEx Economy, Home Delivery, Ground, 2Day, Overnight)
• USPS (examples include: USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express)

Carrier and service selection is at our discretion. We may ship using a comparable service or alternate carrier without prior notice to ensure the best delivery method, pricing, and reliability.

Order Processing Time

We ship orders Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

• Most orders ship within approximately 1–5 business days after the order is placed (processing time varies by product and order volume).
• During peak seasons or high-volume periods, processing times may extend up to 10 business days or more.

Estimated Transit Time & Delivery Dates

Shipping speed (Ground, 2-Day, Next Day, etc.) refers to transit time after the package leaves our facility and does not include processing time. Delivery dates are not guaranteed, even for expedited services. Carrier delays may occur due to weather, peak season, service disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.

Free Shipping & Handling Fee

• Orders $50+ may qualify for Free Standard (Ground) Shipping within the continental U.S. (when offered).
• Free shipping does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or Canada.
• Orders $49 and under are subject to standard shipping charges shown at checkout.
• All orders are subject to a $3.99 handling fee.

Split Shipments

If an order contains multiple items, we may ship items separately (split shipments) based on inventory availability, packaging requirements, or shipping efficiency. Split shipments may arrive on different dates.

Samples / Swatches Shipping

Sample swatches may ship via USPS Standard Mail or UPS/other economical service at our discretion. We do not contact customers to select the carrier for sample shipments.

Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including apartment/unit numbers, gate codes, and access details when applicable.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempts, or unclaimed packages, the customer may be responsible for reshipping costs and any carrier fees charged.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, address changes and reroute requests may not be possible. If a reroute or intercept is requested and available, the customer is responsible for any carrier reroute/intercept fees.

Shipping Insurance, Loss & Damage Claims

Shipping insurance is optional unless specifically stated as required on the product page.

Some shipments may include limited carrier coverage depending on the carrier and service used. Coverage varies by carrier and package type and is not guaranteed.

Carrier claim approval is determined by the carrier’s claims department. We will reasonably assist with documentation, but we cannot guarantee claim approval or reimbursement.

If your order arrives damaged or is missing items, please contact us promptly with your order number, photos of the packaging/labels, photos of the damage (if applicable), and a description of the issue.

Delivered Packages, Theft, and “Porch Piracy”

Once tracking shows a package as Delivered, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.

We do not ship with signature confirmation by default. If signature delivery is available, it may require an additional fee.

We are not responsible for stolen packages after delivery is confirmed by the carrier. To reduce theft risk, we recommend shipping to a secure location, using a package locker or business address, and/or providing delivery instructions where available.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees (Canada / International)

All customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and related charges are the customer’s responsibility. These fees are not included in the shipping amount paid at checkout and are not collected by My Textile Fabric.

If a customer refuses to pay customs/import fees, the package may be held, returned, or abandoned. Any resulting costs, return shipping, or losses may be the customer’s responsibility.

Right to Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) orders that appear to involve suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity, incorrect pricing or listing errors, inventory issues, shipping restrictions, address verification issues, excessive order quantity, abnormal purchasing behavior, or policy violations. If an order is canceled, the customer will be issued a refund to the original payment method (when applicable).

Carrier Delays / No Refunds for Transit Delays

Once an order has shipped, shipping charges are non-refundable due to carrier delays, missed delivery estimates, weather, peak season congestion, or other circumstances outside our control.

Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, strikes, governmental actions, supply chain interruptions, or system outages.

Shipping Responsibility & Title (FOB Origin)

Unless otherwise required by law, orders ship FOB Origin (title and risk of loss transfer when the shipment is tendered to the carrier). The carrier is responsible for delivery while in transit, and claims for loss/damage may need to be filed with the carrier depending on coverage rules. Where required, this policy will be interpreted in accordance with applicable law.
