Return & Exchange Policy

This Return & Exchange Policy governs the terms and conditions under which returns, exchanges, and claims may be made for merchandise purchased from My Textile Fabric. By placing an order, the customer agrees to comply fully with the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all purchases of Sample Swatches, Fabric by the Yard, and Fabric by the Bolt. All products are considered final sale unless explicitly eligible under the return conditions set forth herein.
2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
Returns and exchanges will be accepted under the following conditions:

The merchandise must be in new, unused, uncut, and undamaged condition, free of any alterations, markings, stains, odors, or other signs of use or handling.

A written return request must be submitted within 10 calendar days of receipt of goods.

The return must be authorized in writing by My Textile Fabric prior to shipment.

Products must be returned via mail or in person at our physical location.

The customer assumes full responsibility for return shipping costs and risk of loss in transit.

A 45% restocking fee will be assessed on all returned items, without exception.

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise.
Unauthorized or late returns will be refused and returned to sender.
3. Exchanges

The customer is solely responsible for the cost of returning the item and for all applicable shipping charges associated with the replacement product.

No exchange will be processed until the original merchandise is received and approved following inspection.
- A 45% restocking fee will be assessed on all exchanged items, without exception.
4. Categories of Return Claims
A. Faulty Orders
"Faulty Orders" refer strictly to cases involving:

Missing merchandise
-
Damaged merchandise
-
Incorrect items shipped
Faulty Orders must be reported in writing within 10 calendar days of delivery. Reports received after this period will not be honored. Failure to comply constitutes a waiver of all related claims.
Replacement merchandise will be shipped via UPS Ground or by Choice of Shipper. Expedited shipping is not provided unless expressly approved and paid for by the customer. Customers are advised to place orders well in advance of intended use dates; My Textile Fabric shall not be held liable for delays caused by late reporting or insufficient lead time for corrective action.
Customers must inspect all shipments upon receipt. Order discrepancies must be documented and communicated promptly.
B. Dye Lot Variations
Due to industry-standard production variances, color variations of up to 10% within the same dye lot are deemed acceptable and are not grounds for return, refund, or exchange.

No accommodations will be made for dissatisfaction related to dye lot inconsistencies or monitor-to-physical discrepancies.

Cancellations or modifications are not permitted once fabric has been cut.

Clients are strongly advised to request sample swatches prior to placing bulk or color-sensitive orders. Sample Swatches vary and will change in time. Make sure to order Swatches in a timely manner to maintain color consistency.
C. Irregular Cuts and Sizing
As a cut-to-order operation, My Textile Fabric accepts dimensional variance of up to 10% in length or width.

Returns or exchanges for perceived irregular sizes within this tolerance will not be accepted.

Fitting issues or estimated measurement differences are not considered defects.
Customers seeking exact dimensions are encouraged to purchase additional yardage to subdue any loss.
5. Final Sale Items
The following merchandise is considered non-returnable and final sale:

Clearance or closeout items

Custom, cut-to-order fabric
-
Special order or made-to-specification items
-
Sample swatches (except in the case of verified Faulty Orders)
- ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL AND NON REFUNDABLE
6. International Returns (including Canada)

Customers outside the United States are solely responsible for all shipping costs, duties, brokerage fees, and taxes related to returns.

My Textile Fabric will not accept liability for returned items held in customs, refused shipments, or items lost or damaged in international transit.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy or any transactions shall be submitted exclusively to the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
