Leaf Taffeta are sewn on Leaf shaped petals on a taffeta fabric. Widely used in the event industry for tablecloths and linens. As well as for costumes and apparel tops and accents.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Fabric was great…delivery not so much.

The fabric was just what I needed. But when I purchased it, I paid extra for 3-day delivery. I did not receive it until a week after it was ordered. I needed the fabric for a costume and had anticipated having it by the Thursday or Friday after I ordered it on a Saturday. Instead, it was the following Tuesday. (It was Memorial Day weekend so I took that into account.). When I called to check on it, the lady argued with me that they don’t offer 3 day delivery to my area. I went back on the website and made another order with the same address and it still gave me the option of 3-day delivery. (I took a picture of it.). The only other option I was given was to cancel the order. I needed it so I was forced to just wait for it. I don’t feel I should have been charged extra to have it arrive a week later.

Just what I was looking for. Fabric arrived sooner than expected. Great customer service.

Leaf Taffeta vs Forest Taffeta vs Grape Leaf — which leaves are these?

Leaf-shaped petals — the middle ground. This Leaf Taffeta has sewn-on leaf-shaped petals on 57" wide, 190T taffeta; Forest Taffeta has garden-style leaf embroidery on 54"; Grape Leaf has grape-cluster leaves on 57". All three share the 190T crispy-soft taffeta base, 100% polyester, light-to-medium body, and machine-washable care. The motifs are siblings: choose Leaf for classic foliage, Forest for garden-party fullness, Grape for vineyard themes. Sewing and care are identical — it's purely the silhouette.

Is 57 inches wide enough for a tablecloth without a seam?

For standard tables, yes. At 57" wide, this leaf taffeta covers a 48" round table with a modest drop, or a rectangular table's width, in a single cut — no center seam. For 60" rounds or floor-length drops on big tables, you'll seam panels. The 190T taffeta has a crispy-soft hand with enough body to drape cleanly. Practical event math: wider goods (57" vs 54") measurably cut your seam labor on big orders, which is why the width is worth noting.

Do the leaf petals survive chair-cover installation?

They handle it, but they're dimensional — respect that. The sewn-on leaf petals on this 57" taffeta flex better than glued appliqués, and the 190T base is sturdy. But stretching fabric tight over chair frames presses the petals flat over time, and rough handling during install can catch them. For chair covers at a single event: beautiful. For rental rotation: expect the petals on high-contact areas to lose loft eventually. Tablecloths and sashes show this fabric at its best.
