Koshibo Metallic Foil Print comes in three colors, two of which are Neon tones. Fabric is 100% Polyester and has a Metallic Foil Print on the Koshibo fabric. A Note About Dye Lots Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

Will the metallic foil print crack when the fabric bends?

It can — foil prints are the tradeoff here. This Koshibo has a metallic foil print on 100% polyester at about 5 oz, and foil sits on the surface rather than in the weave, so hard creases and tight gathers can micro-crack it over time. We'd keep this to draped or lightly gathered designs rather than sharp pleats. Two of the three colorways are neon tones, so order swatches — neon photographs very differently under flash.

Is this the same thing as your Chinese brocades?

No — different construction entirely. Our brocades (B23, medallion, dragon) are woven metallics; this Koshibo is a printed foil on a koshibo base, lighter at 5 oz with a flatter hand. If you want texture and depth, pick a brocade; if you want a bold metallic graphic with neon options, this is your fabric. Both are dry clean only, so care is the same either way.
