Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Thank you for the wonderful fabric. I have already sewn a skirt and there is no fabric as a skirt in the stores.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the damask motif?
About 7 inches wide — that's a large-scale damask, a true statement motif. On the lightweight (about 75 GSM) flowy charmeuse at 60 inches wide, a 7-inch damask reads as elegant and formal, not busy. It comes in multiple colors. Machine washable. Honest note: large-scale damasks demand placement thought — center the motif on bodice fronts and plan for extra yardage (about 25% more) if you want the motifs to land symmetrically. For robes and dusters, the scale is spectacular.
Is damask too formal for everyday wear?
On shiny satin, damask leans formal — but this is a lightweight charmeuse, which softens the effect considerably. A 7-inch damask in the right colorway makes a beautiful robe, duster, or evening skirt; as an everyday blouse it depends on your style. The honest take: damask is a classic, not a trend — it doesn't date. If you love the motif, the charmeuse hand keeps it wearable. For sleepwear and robes (its listed uses), the formality is a feature, not a bug.
