Description

3mm Sequins is a glued on round sequins. Evenly spread with about less than 40" of useable fabric with the balance of selvage edge. The sequins on vibrant and bright with a unique metallic shine. This fabric is used for event planning, decorations, swaging, costume designs and cosplay outfits.

Cleaning Instructions	100% hand wash only. Luke warm water with mild soap only. Hang to dry to avoid snagging and or crushed effect.
Picture Taken	Picture is taken with and/or without flash depending on the color. If you are very particular about the color tone - please order a sample swatch to avoid any issues.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Seller was out of stock on several colors and did not communicate this. They shipped what they had and did not try to substitute or inform me of the change. Yes they refunded me the money, but that does not help me with my project. Beware, just because they are saying they have a color does not mean it is in stock.

I always read reviews before I purchase. All the reviews stated fast shipping, but unfortunately, mine came later than expected. It states the business is in California so since I run 3 shops on Etsy and know how long it takes to get to me, I had hoped it would have arrived pretty quickly. My purchase must have come from another country do to the three weeks to arrive.

3mm vs 6mm vs 8mm sequins — which size should I choose?

Think of it as sparkle scale. These 3mm confetti dots are the subtlest — a fine all-over shimmer rather than individual visible sequins, great for full garments and dancewear where you want glow without chunkiness. The 6mm reads as distinct dots; the 8mm quad squares are bold statement sequins. All three in this line are glued on 45" wide goods (about 40" of sequin coverage) with the same hand-wash-only care. Honest guidance: 3mm photographs beautifully and feels smoothest against skin, but from across a ballroom, bigger sequins throw more light.

Is the 3mm confetti sequin fabric see-through?

It's semi-solid — the tiny 3mm sequins are evenly spread and cover the surface well, but the 100% polyester base between them is thin and light. On its own it reads as sparkle with hints of what's beneath; over skin, you'd see shadow. For dancewear or fitted garments, plan a lining or nude underlay. The listing describes a smooth but crispy texture with a very light body at about 5 oz per square yard — it has structure, just not opacity.

Can this go in the washing machine on delicate?

No — hand wash only, and we'd hold that line even for 'delicate' cycles. These 3mm sequins are glued on, and machine agitation plus detergent is exactly what breaks glue bonds; lukewarm water with mild soap, then hang to dry, is the specified care. The tradeoff of the confetti-dot style: hundreds of tiny sequins mean hundreds of glue points, so machine washing risks a patchy, balding look fast. If you need machine-washable sparkle, look at our sewn-sequin fabrics instead.
