Dye Lot Variations

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

False advertisement. There is nothing hard about this tulle. It’s cheap and very thin. VERY OVERPRICED. IT’S NOT HARD AT ALL. IM BEYOND DISAPPOINTED. I immediately want a refund.

Frequently asked questions

Hard net vs soft tulle — which do I need for petticoat volume?
Hard net, if volume is the goal. This is a stiff, open, small-opening netting — 60" wide, 100% polyester, about 1.5 oz per linear yard — traditionally used under dresses and skirts to puff them out and hold their shape. Soft tulle drapes; hard net stands. The tradeoff: hard net is scratchy by design (it's structural, not comfortable), so it always goes as an underskirt layer, never against skin. For a bridal gown that needs to hold a bell shape all day, hard net is the workhorse.
How many layers do I need for real poof?
It depends on the silhouette, but hard net builds volume fast. Because this netting is stiff (not soft tulle), two to three gathered layers under a 60" wide skirt give dramatic stand-out volume; a single layer gives gentle lift. The listing notes it's 'traditionally used to give volume to dresses' — gathered hard net is doing structural work, like boning for skirts. Practical tip: cut the net layers slightly shorter than the fashion fabric so no scratchy edge peeks out, and bind the waist seam — raw net edges are abrasive.
Can I wash a hard-net petticoat?
Yes — machine wash cold or warm, low tumble. The 100% polyester net handles washing fine. The real care question is drying and storage: hang to dry (the listing's implied guidance is gentle handling), and store petticoats hanging or loosely stuffed rather than compressed — hard net that's been crushed flat for months loses some of its spring. A quick steam revives it. It's a humble, hardworking fabric: wash it, hang it, and it keeps its stiffness for years.
