Description

Waffle Brocade is a sophisticated, heavyweight polyester fabric featuring a distinctive raised grid pattern that mimics a classic waffle weave. At 60" wide and 100% polyester, this dense, structured textile delivers exceptional durability, wrinkle resistance, and natural insulation—making it equally suited for fashion-forward apparel and stylish home décor projects. The fabric weighs approximately 80 grams per square yard and offers a soft yet textured hand feel that adds visual interest to any creation.

Care for your Waffle Brocade with ease: machine wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry on low heat to maintain its beautiful texture and performance. Please note that product photography may vary with or without flash depending on color; if you're particular about tone accuracy, we recommend ordering a sample swatch first. This imported fabric is solid and opaque, ready to transform your design vision into reality.

Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is it actually heavyweight?
We'd be straight with you: the name says heavyweight, but the spec lists about 80 grams per square yard, which is light-to-medium. What gives this Waffle Brocade its structure isn't weight — it's the dense raised grid weave that resembles a waffle pattern, which makes the 100% polyester fabric hold texture and body beyond what 80 GSY suggests. Expect a structured hand with wrinkle resistance, not a heavy drape. If you need true heavyweight, this isn't it; if you want texture with easy handling, it is.
Will ironing flatten the waffle texture?
It can if you press hard with high heat. The raised grid is the whole character of this fabric, so press from the wrong side with a press cloth and a light touch — or skip ironing entirely, since the 100% polyester construction is wrinkle-resistant by nature. For apparel and home decor projects, we'd plan the layout to minimize seam bulk over the textured areas rather than pressing them flat.
