Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Victorian Damask

Frequently asked questions

Victorian Damask vs Vintage Damask — which one?
Washable versus dry-clean-only is the deciding factor. Victorian Damask is a 150 GSM jacquard, 58/60" wide, 100% polyester, machine washable (cold or warm, low tumble) with a soft-to-medium hand — built for upholstery, curtains, pipe-and-drape, tablecloths, and chair covers in real rotation. Vintage Damask is the heavier, dry-clean-only, cotton-look damask (250 GSM). Choose Victorian when the pieces get laundered; choose Vintage when you want the heavier hand and rustic cotton look for decor that mostly hangs there.
Is 150 GSM heavy enough for upholstery?
For light to medium upholstery, yes. At about 150 grams per square meter with a medium body, Victorian Damask handles dining chair seats, pillows, ottomans, and slipcovers — the listing names upholstery outright. It's not a heavy-duty commercial grade; for a daily-use sofa, you'd want something beefier. The advantage here is versatility: the same 58/60" wide, machine-washable goods does curtains, tablecloths, and chair covers, so whole-room schemes come from one bolt.
Vineyard-style pattern — will it look dated?
Damask is cyclical, not dated. The vineyard-style pattern on this jacquard is a classic motif that reads traditional rather than trendy — it won't look 'last season' because it was never 'this season.' At 150 GSM with a soft-to-medium hand it drapes well for curtains, where traditional patterns live longest. Our honest styling take: pair it with solid, modern furniture and it reads timeless; pair it with other traditional patterns and it reads period — which is perfect if period is the goal (theatrical costume is a listed use).
