Description

Spider Web Sequins Embroidery is a lightweight, very see through sequenced/netted fabric. Small 3mm Glitz Style Sequins have been sewn onto the fabric to give the netting some glam. Great for tablecloths, linens, overlays, runners, dresses, and bridal wear.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

Is Spider Web actually sheer enough to see through?

Yes — very sheer. The listing describes it as lightweight and 'very see through': a sequined netting where small 3mm glitz-style sequins are sewn onto an open net ground. At 54" wide and about 3.5 oz per square linear yard, it's featherweight. That sheerness is the design — it's an overlay fabric for tablecloths, runners, and bridal wear, meant to float over a solid base. On its own as a garment it needs full lining; as an event overlay, the sheer ground disappears and the web of sequins floats.

Machine washable sequin netting — really?

Listed as 100% washable, and the construction earns it: the 3mm sequins are sewn (not glued) onto the netting, so they tolerate washing far better than glued sequins. We'd still wash cold in a garment bag and hang to dry — netting snags on everything in a machine, and 3.5 oz sheer fabric tangles easily. The honest comparison: it's the lowest-maintenance sequin overlay we carry, but 'machine washable' for a sequined sheer still means 'with care,' not 'toss it in with the towels.'

Spider web for Halloween — is the motif too literal?

It's literally a web pattern, so lean into it. The metallic web of sequins on sheer netting reads as spiderweb from any distance — perfect for Halloween events, gothic weddings, and costume overlays. At 54" wide it's efficient for table runners and backdrops. Beyond October, the same web reads as abstract glam for evening events. Our honest take: buy it for the theme you have now; webs are specific enough that 'someday' projects rarely come.
