Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is Coco Ribbon the same fabric as the Ribbon Taffeta?
No — different base entirely. Coco Ribbon is a sheer embroidery with ribbon motifs and sequins on an open sheer ground (52" wide, double scalloped ends, semi see-through), while Ribbon Taffeta is a solid 190T taffeta with ribbon cord embroidery. One is a sheer overlay fabric for Moroccan/Indian-themed canopies, overlays, and sashes; the other is an opaque tablecloth fabric. If you need to see through it or layer it, you want Coco Ribbon. If you need a finished tablecloth surface, you want the taffeta.
How sheer is it really — can it work as a canopy?
It's semi see-through, which is actually ideal for canopies. Coco Ribbon's open sheer ground with ribbon-and-sequin embroidery diffuses light beautifully overhead — you get dappled light and visible embroidery rather than a dark tent ceiling. Event planners use it for Moroccan-themed canopies for exactly this reason. The tradeoff: it provides zero privacy and minimal shade, so it's a decorative canopy, not a functional one. Layer it over a solid voile if you need both.
Do the scalloped ends fray?
The scallops are embroidered edges, so they behave like embroidery, not like a raw cut. Both ends of Coco Ribbon are finished with the scalloped embroidery itself, which locks the edge threads. That said, sequin embroidery at any edge deserves gentle handling — don't pull the scallops when positioning overlays, and machine wash in a garment bag (cold or warm, low tumble per the listing). The long sides are raw cuts, so hem those.
