We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

Is this a good summer fabric, or just a cute print?

Both, honestly. The yellow lemon-and-watermelon fruit print is unapologetically summery, but underneath it's a proper 100% cotton at 100 GSM and 58/60 inches — lightweight, breathable, machine washable cold or warm. It makes great summer dresses, kids' clothes, bandanas, and kitchen textiles like aprons and napkins. The honest tradeoff: 100 GSM is a light shirting weight, so for garments that take abuse it's a fair-weather fabric — literally and figuratively. For peak-summer wear, though, the lightness is the feature.

Will the yellow background show stains?

Yellow shows less than white but more than a dark print — that's the honest spectrum. This is a 100 GSM cotton, so treat stains promptly: cold water, mild detergent, no bleach. The busy fruit print camouflages small spots better than a solid yellow would. For kids' summer clothes and picnic textiles (its natural habitat), expect real-world wear — it's a washable, affordable cotton, not a precious one.
