Description

Muslin is a 124" wide unbleached natural fabric. Construction compiles of 20x20/60x60. It is of a cotton fabric with plain weave. Muslin can be used for upholstery, clothing, sewing patterns, curtains, linings, and much more. Event rental companies can use this fabric to pipe n drape rooms and or create dimensions within the ballroom. Due to its composition, our muslin can withstand countless washes - a huge plus in all industries. Fabric works well for IFR pipe n draping projects in the Event Industry. This from does not come pre IFR but can be sprayed and or made FR because of its 100% Cotton composition. Great for large event swags and tent cover and or tent liners.

It'll work

Bought this fabric to use as lining for curtain panels. It's heavier than I expected, which should help givw body to the curtains. The texture is rather coarse, which isn't surprising for the price. What was disappointing is that after washing, it's been impossible to iron smooth, even when ironing it while damp. It also left a sticky build up on the iron - sizing, perhaps? - that was tough to clean off. So it'll work for the intended purpose, but I wouldn't use it for anything where it would be visible or need frequent washing.

Just wanted to confirm, if I need a 10’x10’ I would need to order 4 yards

Is this fabric for 199 a yard suitable for hand quilting or is it too heavy. Also if I buy 2 yards will it make a 72 x 1 20 quilt lining and sewn together, thank you.
