Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

One-sided scallop — how is this different from the double-sided version?
One finished edge instead of two. This eyelet (65% polyester / 35% cotton, 45" wide, about 4.5 oz per linear yard) has a scalloped finish on one side only, with partial eyelet embroidery — lighter and airier than the heavy double-scallop version. The single scallop is your hemline or border edge; the other side gets hemmed normally. It's the right pick when your design needs one decorative edge (a curtain bottom, a skirt hem, a pillow border) rather than two — and it's less fabric to pay for per yard than the heavy version.
'Partial eyelet embroidery' — does that mean sparse coverage?
It means the embroidery doesn't cover the full width edge to edge. This one-sided scallop eyelet has eyelet embroidery concentrated toward the scalloped border with plainer fabric above — a border print layout rather than all-over. That's a design choice, not a defect: it gives you a decorated edge with a clean field for the garment body. At 4.5 oz per linear yard it's lighter than the heavy all-over version, which drapes better for summer apparel (its listed use). Match the layout to your pattern before cutting.
Can I put the scallop at the top as a decorative waistband?
You can — it's your design. The single scalloped edge of this 45" eyelet works as a hem, a neckline trim, a curtain bottom, or a decorative waistband facing; the embroidery is finished on that edge so it needs no hemming. Just interface behind it if it's a waistband (eyelet embroidery has natural give at the openings). It's 65/35 poly-cotton, machine washable — so a scalloped waistband survives real laundering. The limitation is width math: one scallop per 45" width, so wide waistbands need piecing.
