Duck Cloth Canvas is a 100% Cotton Natural Grey Loom-state Fabric weight about 10 oz and is 60" wide. Duck Cloth is a high quality super useful item to sew. Great for Art Projects an DIY art application such as upholstery bags, tote bags, floor cloths, draperies, painters cover and overalls, table covering, chair covers, pillows, backdrops and props. Great also for Artist Canvas, murals, and painting. Canvas is a natural waterproof fabric.

The quality of the duck canvas is very good. It works very well with our crafting products. We have purchased 3 rolls of this canvas and each time the shipping is fast and the service good. Only suggestion is that we prefer a 72" width vs a 60" as an option. 100 yard rolls are also a good option.

It's a natural grey loom-state fabric, so expect a slightly rustic, unfinished look rather than a bleached white. Honest warning: it is NOT preshrunk, so pre-wash before you cut if your project will ever be laundered — cotton canvas can draw up noticeably on the first wash. And while the listing describes canvas as naturally water-resistant (great for floor cloths and painter's covers), it's not a substitute for a coated fabric in truly wet conditions.

Can I paint on this canvas for art projects and murals?

Absolutely — art use is one of this canvas's most popular jobs. The tight 10 oz weave takes acrylics and oils well, and at 60 inches wide you can stretch larger canvases or cut floor cloths and backdrops without piecing. Because it's loom-state (undyed, natural grey), your colors will read slightly warmer than on a primed white canvas — test a swatch first if color accuracy matters.
