Paillette Sequins is a sought out round 9mm sequins. The largest sequins of the group we carry. Mesh background is 100% polyester with large sequins sewn onto the mesh fabric dangling off. Makes for a unique top, skirt and or costume. Event designers can create cake, card, and or specialty linens.

A Note About Dye Lots Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

9mm sequins — are these the big dramatic ones or standard size?

The big dramatic ones. At 9mm these are the largest sequins in our lineup — true paillettes in a fish-scale style, sewn onto a 100% polyester mesh and left dangling for movement. At roughly 12 oz per linear yard this is a heavyweight fabric; a full skirt in it has real heft. The tradeoff: that weight demands sturdy construction — reinforced waistbands and no flimsy linings.

Will the dangling sequins catch and tangle?

They can — it's the price of the look. Because the paillettes dangle off the mesh rather than lying flat, they catch on each other in storage and on jewelry while worn. Store finished pieces flat or rolled, never crammed, and hand-wash in warm water with light soap as the listing directs. For event linens — cake and card tables are listed uses — the dangle reads as luxury from across the room.
