Inherently Fire Retardant (IFR):

This fabric is Certified fire retardant NFPA 701. Tested and reviewed by Laboratories for Indoor Flame Retardancy.  Fire Marshalls and or special jobs require certified fire retardant documents for approval before installation and or product development. This item passes the NFPA 701 testing. Some venues at events may also require this certification for event and or decorations. NFPA 701 Certificate available upon request.

Chenille Fabric is a luxuriously soft, textured fabric known for its plush, velvety surface and durable woven construction. Named after the French word for "caterpillar," chenille features a fuzzy, tufted pile that enhances its warmth and comfort. This 100% polyester fabric, weighing 350 GSM and 60 inches wide, is ideal for large-scale upholstery projects, home décor, apparel, and creative costumes. Ultra-soft and velvety, it provides a rich, plush feel while remaining durable, long-lasting, and resilient for everyday use.

Perfect for sofas, cushions, drapes, bedspreads, chairs, ottomans, theatrical outfits, jackets, and winterwear, this versatile fabric ensures easy maintenance with wrinkle and stain resistance. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, tumble dry on low heat, and occasionally fluff high-traffic areas to maintain the plush texture. Avoid harsh detergents or high heat to preserve the fabric's integrity and premium quality.

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.
