We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

We are looking for a bulk row of vintage lace,sage green for table runners. Have 13-8ft rectangular tables & 8ft round. I would like the lace to come down about 2 feet at the end of each table.

It's Chantilly-style, not the French original — and the price tells you that honestly. True Chantilly is silk, handmade or woven in France; this is a 100% polyester lace with fine floral embroidery on a sheer net base, about 52 inches wide, capturing the delicate look and soft drape of Chantilly at a fraction of the cost. For bridal gowns, veils, and overlays it photographs beautifully. What you give up: silk's hand and heirloom prestige.

How do I use it as an appliqué on a bodice?

Cut the motifs out and appliqué them — don't try to seam full widths. This Chantilly Lace's floral motifs are embroidered on sheer mesh, so the couture technique is to carefully cut around individual flowers and hand-appliqué them onto a satin or crepe bodice, overlapping edges for a seamless look. The 52-inch width gives you plenty of motifs to harvest. Hand wash or dry clean the finished gown; machine agitation shreds appliquéd lace edges.
