Applique Organza is a soft sheer with leaf appliques sewn onto the sheer background. This organza has a border on the top and bottom and is about 50" wide. Great for dresses and or art and craft jobs. Used for overlays and tablecloths in the event industry. Looks amazing for Children' Clothing and Manufacturing of Doll Dresses.

Picture Taken	Left side of the picture is taken with the fabric piled together to give the true impression of the color of the fabric. The right portion of the fabric is taken as a single layer of the Applique organza over a white polyester. Fabric is sheer and taken with or without flash to give the customer an idea of tone of color. - Please order a sample swatch to avoid any issues.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Can I cut the appliqué motifs out individually for a child's dress?

Yes — that's exactly what this organza is designed for. The leaf appliqués are sewn onto the sheer background, so you can cut around individual motifs and appliqué them onto a bodice or skirt. The organza itself is about 50 inches wide with a scalloped border on both edges, so plan your cuts to use the border as a finished hemline. One thing to know: this fabric is dry clean only, so it's best for occasion dresses rather than everyday children's wear that needs frequent washing.

Will the scalloped edge work as a finished hem for table overlays?

Yes. The double scallop edge runs along both the top and bottom of this 50-inch-wide organza, so you can cut overlay lengths and use the existing scallops as the finished edge — no hemming needed. Event planners use this organza for overlays and table runners for exactly that reason. The tradeoff: at 50 inches wide, it won't cover a full banquet table as a standalone cloth, so pair it as an overlay over a solid base linen.

Is this organza too sheer to use on its own for a dress?

For most dresses, yes — you'll want a lining or base layer underneath. This is a soft sheer organza with leaf appliqués, so skin and undergarments will show through without a lining. We recommend pairing it as an overlay over satin or lining fabric in a matching tone. That said, the appliqué coverage does add some opacity compared to plain organza, so for a loose overlay top or a decorative bodice panel, it can work unlined.
