Micro Mesh is a 60" lightweight soft tulle like fabric. The mesh is very small - visible to the eye. Great for layering into apparel, lingerie and more. This versatile very lightweight sheer mesh is perfect for layering into overlays on special occasion apparel, lingerie, and more. Fabric features 10% stretch on the grain for comfort and ease.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Polyester Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

I’m very happy with the sheer fabric! I was looking for a subtle, white, almost transparent, non scratchy sheer and this definitely hit the mark! There was a complication with the delivery but after reaching out to the company, they responded promptly and rectified the situation!

Micro mesh vs power mesh — which for lining a leotard?

Micro mesh for the sheer overlay; power mesh for support. This micro mesh is a super-soft, lightweight tulle-like fabric — 60" wide, 100% polyester, sheer, with a very small mesh 'visible to the eye' and 10% stretch on the grain for comfort. It's a layering fabric: overlays on special-occasion apparel, lingerie accents. It has no real support function. For a leotard that needs the lining to do work (support, opacity), power mesh's 20% spandex is the tool. For a decorative sheer layer, micro mesh's softness wins.

10% stretch — is that enough to matter?

For comfort, yes; for performance, no. The 10% stretch on the grain gives this micro mesh wearing ease — it moves with you instead of binding — which matters in lingerie and overlay panels. It's not power stretch: it won't recover like spandex or support like power mesh. Think of it as 'forgiving sheer' rather than 'stretch fabric.' The 60" width and 4 colorways make it efficient for layering yards. Machine washable (cold or warm, low tumble) — easy care for a delicate look.

Will the tiny mesh run or tear easily?

It's sturdier than it looks, but respect the scale. The mesh is very small — 'visible to the eye' per the listing — which actually makes it more stable than wide-open nets; small meshes distribute stress. It's 100% polyester and machine washable. But it's still a sheer mesh: sharp jewelry, rough Velcro, and aggressive seam-ripping will damage it. Cut with sharp shears, use a fine needle, and it behaves. For overlays and lingerie accents (its jobs), the durability is appropriate to the delicacy.
