Galaxy is a pattern printed on a L'amour Satin fabric. This abstract Satin Printed Fabric is made and printed in Korea. Fabric is printed on a semi dull heavy satin. Great for Tablecloths, Overlays, and Runners. Great for back drops for added accents.

Is the galaxy print just for kids, or can adults use it?

Both — galaxy prints live a double life. On this 130 GSM semi-dull L'amour satin (design K05TH4, printed in Korea), the abstract galaxy reads as cosmic and moody rather than cartoonish, which is why event planners use it for space-themed galas, proms, and New Year's parties as tablecloths and backdrops. For kids: bedding, costumes, and birthday decor. The semi-dull finish keeps it from looking like cheap party-store plastic — that's the difference-maker. Honest note: galaxy is a trend print, so buy for the event in front of you rather than for the stash.

Will the dark galaxy print show wrinkles?

Dark prints are less forgiving than light ones — wrinkles and creases catch light and show as pale lines on a dark galaxy ground. The good news: this is a 130 GSM semi-dull satin (not high-gloss), so creasing shows less than it would on shiny satin, and it's machine washable cold or warm with low tumble. For backdrops, hang it a day early and let gravity do the work; for tablecloths, pull it from the dryer promptly. The honest tradeoff of any dark printed satin: it demands a bit more finishing care than a light solid.
