Foil Spandex Lame is a Two Way Stretch Lame fabric. Once the Lame is stretch, it conforms back into its lame state without any marks or missing foil. Fabric is meant to stretch and come back to its solid form. Great for wall applications, Clothing, Costumes and used heavily in the party rental industry

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Excellent quality

I originally stopped by their LA showroom to see what kind of hologram fabric was available and the staff was kind enough to show me these. The colors are out of this world with so much dimension. It was honestly hard to narrow down the color choices for my project (I ended up choosing turquoise and rose gold). This knit is medium weight and stretches wonderfully while having a bit of structure from the foil overlay.

Exactly what I was hoping for

I was looking for a fabric like I had used in the past, but had never ordered online so I wasn’t sure. The description was thorough enough that I chose this one and it was exactly what I needed. It’s thick, stretches in all directions and sees easily. The particular one I ordered was a little shinier than I had used before, but was still beautiful. The price was very reasonable as well.

This Foil Spandex Lame is a two-way stretch lame — all-over foil on stretch knit, 60" wide, about 170 grams per square meter, 100% polyester, dry clean only — where the foil 'conforms back into its lame state without any marks or missing foil' after stretching. The Foil Hologram Spandex (HM 2240) is the iridescent rainbow holographic version. Choose this one for classic metallic foil lamé looks; choose HM 2240 for rainbow hologram. Both are two-way stretch, both dry clean only, both 58/60"-ish — the finish is the decision.

Will the all-over foil crack when stretched?

That's the product's core claim: no. Dry clean only for a stretch fabric — why?

The foil. The two-way stretch knit base would wash fine — it's the all-over foil finish that demands dry cleaning (do not machine wash). Water agitation and detergent dull and lift foil; dry-cleaning solvents don't. For party-rental wall applications and costumes (its listed uses), professional cleaning between uses is standard.
