Description

Buffalo Plaid Gingham Checkers is a gingham checkers that measures approximately 2" squares. Made of a basic polyester visa fabric. Makes it an affordable and durable table linen, overlay and or restaurant style tablecloth. This fabric is also great for costumes and uniform style suiting.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Polyester Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures. We always suggest Dry Cleaning to Preserve the longevity of your fabric

Is this real buffalo plaid or a printed check?

It is a buffalo-check pattern on a basic polyester 'visa' fabric — a printed check, not a yarn-dyed woven plaid. The checks measure about 2 inches square, and the fabric is 60 inches wide at roughly 220 grams per square yard with a smooth poly hand and medium-weight body. For table linens, overlays, and restaurant tablecloths (its main uses), a printed check is actually the practical choice: affordable, durable, and machine washable (cold or warm, low tumble). Honest tradeoff: a yarn-dyed woven would have richer depth and a reversible pattern, but at multiples of the price — for event and costume use, this hits the sweet spot.

Will the 2-inch checks look right on a tablecloth?

Yes — 2-inch buffalo checks are the classic scale for table linens: large enough to read from across a restaurant or event hall, small enough not to overwhelm the table. At 60 inches wide you can cut overlays and restaurant cloths efficiently, and the 220 GSM medium-weight body drapes well while the polyester resists stains and wrinkles — which is why it is specified for restaurant-style tablecloths. One honest note: because it is a printed check, the pattern sits on the face only and the back is plain, so it is not ideal for anything where both sides show, like napkins or reversible runners.
