Solid Taffeta is also known as a Two Tone Taffeta. This fabric has plenty of colors to choose from making it an amazing Apparel, Bridal, and Event industry choice. Taffeta Fabric is a crispy yet soft woven fabric. Works great for Cosplay and Costumes. Fabric is sold in Continuous Yards.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Polyester Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures.

Affordable two-tone taffeta

I love this crisp two tone taffeta. It’s easy to sew and looks luxurious. The colors coordinate with other fabrics like the rose jacquard, bridal satin, and BT velvet, so it’s easy to purchase with confidence that the colors will go well together.

I have been looking everywhere for this type of material, no one seems to carry it any more. I was so excited to see you had exactly what I wanted and the color is spot on for what I’m wanting to make!

This company appears to thrive on deception. I would encourage you to look elsewhere. They add tax to shipping (shameful) - They respond to questions at their leisure- They place blame on others- Oh! And he very cautious of their photos! Shameful!

What does 'two-tone' mean on a solid taffeta?

It means the color shifts as the fabric moves. This Two Tone Taffeta is woven with different-colored warp and weft threads, so the fabric flashes between two tones depending on the light angle and how it drapes — shot silk's famous iridescence, in polyester. That's why the same 'solid' looks different on the roll versus in a gathered skirt. It's 100% polyester, 190T, at 58/60 inches wide: crispy yet soft, and a favorite for bridal, events, cosplay, and costumes where that color shift adds drama.

Does taffeta fray badly?

Yes — plan for it. Taffeta is a crisp plain weave, and crisp weaves fray; this 190T two-tone is no exception. Finish every seam: serge, pink, or bind, and handle cut pieces gently before seaming. The crispness that makes taffeta rustle beautifully also means raw edges shed threads fast. Cut with sharp shears, sew promptly, and don't leave pieces sitting around unfinished — that's when fraying does its worst.
