Does the glitter fall off this rainbow tulle?

Some shedding is inevitable with any glitter tulle — the glitter is applied all over the multi-color tulle, and friction loosens it. The listing calls it easy to wash and handle, and it's machine washable, which helps: wash it in a mesh laundry bag to contain the shed. The rainbow runs horizontally across the 60-inch width, so plan your cuts with the stripe direction in mind. Honest tradeoff: if you need zero-shed sparkle (for a wedding dress, say), a sequin or metallic-thread fabric is the upgrade — glitter tulle is for costumes, tutus, wings, and kids' party pieces, where a little sparkle migration is part of the fun.

Which way does the rainbow run on this tulle?

Horizontally — the rainbow stripes run across the width of the fabric (selvage to selvage) on this 60-inch-wide tulle. That matters for cutting: for a tutu or skirt, cut with the stripes running around the body for the classic rainbow-band effect; for wings or vertical panels, you'll be cutting across the stripes. At 2 oz per square yard it's a featherweight sheer, super soft. For dancewear and cosplay, the horizontal rainbow reads beautifully in motion — that's the whole appeal.
