Description

Broadcloth is a tightly woven plain weave fabric comprised of a 80% polyester, 20% cotton, cotton/polyester blend. Our 60" wide Polyester Cotton Broadcloth is 80/20 composition. Fabric weighs approximately 4 oz per Linear Yard. Fabric has a soft breathable finish for Shirting, Garments, Bed Sheets, Bed pillows, and more.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures. We always suggest Dry Cleaning to Preserve the longevity of your fabric

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

The polyester cotton fabric is conform but the quality is not good.

I bought a bolt of white polyester cotton fabric month ago to make some bedding . It’s so comfortable but there are a few spots that didn’t make well. I sent the pictures the the seller and asking for refund for those default. The seller pretends to be blind and has never responded. I am not sure if I should recommend this seller to anyone as its customer service is not as good.

I love that these fabric colors coordinate with other fabrics they offer. This is a a nice, crisp broadcloth that washes nicely and sews easily. I appreciate the 60" width when cutting out pattern pieces.

Why choose the 80/20 blend over 100% cotton broadcloth?

Less ironing, less shrinking, longer life. This 80% polyester / 20% cotton broadcloth keeps cotton's soft, breathable finish for shirting and bedding while the polyester majority cuts wrinkling and shrinkage dramatically versus 100% cotton. At about 4 oz per linear yard and 60 inches wide, it's a smooth, tightly woven plain weave that sews easily. The tradeoff: it won't develop cotton's lived-in softness over years, and it doesn't breathe quite like pure cotton in extreme heat.

Is it good for bed sheets?

Yes — it's a classic sheeting blend. The listing names bed sheets and pillowcases among the uses, and the 80/20 construction is why: the tight plain weave is smooth against skin, the polyester resists the wrinkling that makes pure-cotton sheets look rumpled, and it stands up to frequent hot laundering.
