Our 2" Stripe Cotton Blend Canvas is about 10 oz and is 60" wide. Our Dyed Canvas is a high quality super useful item to sew. We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

It’s embarrassing…

It’s embarrassing they’ve sent me a request to rate the fabric when just days ago I wrote them directly with photos showing them the poor quality and flaws in the fabric!! Requesting a refund!!
If I wanted ‘seconds’ fabric it would be fine… but paying top prices receiving the flawed fabric I’m very dissatisfied.
Fabric was sent quickly… the colors were correct, but flaws and stain on fabric makes it impossible to use.

You said it was 100% cotton canvas and it is not!!! It is mixed with poly or synthetic fiber.

What does 'naturally water resistant' mean — can I leave it out in the rain?

It shrugs off light moisture, not downpours. This 10 oz cotton-blend canvas gets its water resistance from a tight weave — fine for tote bags caught in drizzle or patio cushions under cover. It is not a coated waterproof fabric, so real rain will eventually work through. For true waterproof outdoor use you'd want a PU-coated canvas instead; this one wins on breathability and sewability. At 60 inches wide in a 2-inch stripe, it's cut for bags, upholstery, and drapery.

Will this shrink like regular cotton canvas?

Yes — pre-wash it. This is a cotton-blend canvas that is not preshrunk, so expect shrinkage on the first wash, just like its solid canvas sibling. We'd wash and dry it exactly how you'll launder the finished piece before cutting — especially for fitted items like chair covers or overalls where an inch matters. The 60-inch width gives you generous cutting room, so a little shrinkage won't strand your project.
