Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I project video onto this muslin?
Yes — that's one of its best uses. This 120-inch Fire Retardant Bleached White Muslin is 100% cotton with a clean, crisp bleached-white tone that reflects light beautifully, making it ideal for projection surfaces, lighting effects, and neutral scenic backgrounds. The 120-inch width means a 10-foot projection area with no center seam breaking the image. It's pre-treated to meet fire safety standards for public and performance spaces — confirm your venue's specific cert requirements, but the FR treatment is built in.
Bleached white vs natural muslin — which should I choose?
Bleached white when you need true color. This bleached muslin gives you a clean, neutral white that won't warm-shift your projections or lighting gels — critical for projection mapping and photography backdrops. Natural/unbleached muslin has a warm tone that flatters skin in portraits but tints projected color. For theater backdrops and photo studios where color accuracy matters, bleached white is the professional default.
