Color Waves

Not sure about the color? We highly recommend ordering a sample swatch first to see the color and fabric in person. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and dye lots. Returns are accepted in accordance with our return policy and are subject to applicable restocking fees.

Dye Lot Variations

A Note About Dye Lots  Dye lots may vary slightly from order to order. As one fabric roll sells out and a new roll is opened, subtle color variations may occur. If matching a specific shade is important, we recommend ordering a sample swatch to view our current dye lot before placing your order.

Full Piece and/or Splits

Full Pieces & Splits

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Frequently asked questions

118/120 inches wide — how is that even woven?
On extra-wide looms built for the drapery trade — and it's the whole point of this fabric. This IFR batiste slub voile is 118/120" wide (essentially 10 feet), 100% polyester, inherently flame retardant and NFPA 701 certified with certificate available on request. Event planners cover wide pipe-and-drape panels, canopies, and thick swags in single widths. It comes in a wholesale bolt. The tradeoff of 10-foot sheer: you need a huge cutting surface and careful handling — sheer this wide tears if yanked.
What does 'slub' mean — is it a flaw?
Not a flaw — it's the texture. Slub means thick-and-thin variations in the yarn that create a subtle nubby texture, and this batiste voile's slub gives it a 'slub silk look' per the listing — visual richness that flat voile lacks. It reads as expensive texture from a distance, which is why it's specified for large-room draping where flat sheer would look plain. The 100% polyester base keeps it washable and consistent, unlike real slub silk's fussiness. Texture is the feature, not a defect.
'Splits in the rolls may occur' — should I worry?
It's a candid note worth understanding. The listing mentions the 120-yard bolt format and notes splits may occur — meaning a full bolt might arrive as two pieces rather than one continuous 120-yard run. For most draping jobs (panels, swags, canopies), a split mid-bolt is irrelevant — you're cutting panels anyway. It only matters if you need one unbroken 100+ yard length, which is rare. If that rare case is yours, confirm continuity when ordering. For everyone else: it's a non-issue disclosed honestly.
