Metallic Vintage Linen is a 100% polyester imitation Linen fabric. Vintage linen is also known as a Imitation Burlap, however this particular product has a metallic vein running through the fabric. 100% Washable and easy to maintain. Metallic Vintage Linen can be used in the event industry for swaging, pipe n draping, tablecloths and linens, and much more.

Cleaning Instructions	100% Polyester Washable - Machine Cycle Cold or Warm, Low Tumble, Dry under low temperatures.
Picture Taken	Picture is taken with and/or without flash depending on the color. If you are very particular about the color tone - please order a sample swatch to avoid any issues.

We always do our best to provide your order in one continuous piece whenever possible. However, as fabric rolls are completed or depending on how they arrive from the mill, an order may occasionally include more than one piece. Some mill-direct rolls may also contain splits within the roll.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee one continuous piece. If continuous yardage is important for your project, please contact our team before ordering so we can check availability for you.

Is this real burlap, or will it shed like real burlap?

It's not real burlap — and that's the point. This is a 100% polyester imitation linen with a metallic vein running through it, designed to give you the burlap look without the shedding, the scratchiness, or the smell. Real jute burlap sheds fibers everywhere and can't be washed; this is fully washable and won't leave fibers all over your event space. At 60 inches wide, it works for swaging, draping, tablecloths, and linens. If you specifically want the rough organic texture of real jute, this isn't it — but for event decor where you want the look without the mess, it's the practical choice.

Will the metallic vein tarnish or fade over time?

The metallic vein is integrated into the polyester weave, not a surface coating, so it won't flake off like metallic prints can. Because the base is 100% polyester, the fabric is washable and the metallic effect holds up through normal use and cleaning. For event draping that's installed and removed repeatedly, expect the fabric to perform like any quality polyester — the metallic vein isn't a fragile add-on. That said, we wouldn't use chlorine bleach on it, as bleach can dull metallic fibers over time.
